Changed the layout of the fans on my acrylic window by rotating the fans 90 degrees clockwise. Now only 3 fans operating, 2 X 80 mm panaflos blowing in, direct onto the cpu & pci slots, & 1 X 120mm seada blwing air out. Temps were lower by about 2 C with this setup. |

Now, time for some pics (all pics were taken using Prolink DC 305 digital camera, RM199, from Suteki Photo Studio, Rawang) | ||||
View of my case, after changing the layout of the acrylic window, so that the fans will blow directly onto the CPU & PCI slots. The 2 fans on top of the case will be taken out. Temps were higher when those 2 is switched on, probably due to the distance between them & the intake fans |
A close - up view on the acrylic window, revealing the cluttered innards. Trying to work on that one. Pardon the picture quality, couldn't expect more from an RM199 camera. |

The baybus switch, with the Senfu temp probe, showing temp of 42.1C, at idle, no air con. Also my Sony 52X CD ROM. |

The top part of my casing, U can see the 120mm Seada blowhole at work here. That fan pushes out 86 cubic feet of air per minute (cfm). Also visible is my KOSS UR20 headphone & my baybus switches. Only 2 LEDs are working. I'll rewire them after I remove the 3 extra fans. |
